Tennis Hosts Northern Colorado, Wednesday

BOULDER ? The University of Colorado women’s tennis team hosts in-state foe Northern Colorado, Wednesday at the Millennium Harvest House beginning at 3 p.m. Admission is open to the public and parking is free.

Doubles play will begin first, followed by the six singles slots.

The Buffaloes (0-3) will be looking for their first win of the spring season, while the Bears are also looking for their first victory (0-1). CU has dominated the head-to-head series since 1975 and holds a commanding 26-2 advantage.

The Buffs won last season’s meeting, 7-0, their first against UNC in 11 years. CU continues their homestand at the Millennium Harvest House against Denver this Saturday, Feb. 9 beginning at 11 a.m.

Each home match, the CU Sports Information Office will feature a women’s tennis player with a series of questions. Wednesday’s student-athlete feature is freshman Abbie Probert from London, England.
