A
successful weekend for the Big 12 Conference wrapped up Sunday
night at the base of the Rocky Mountains as the Texas A&M
University women and University of Colorado men captured team
titles at the 2008 Outdoor Track & Field Championships held May
16-18 at Potts Field in Boulder.
The Aggies claimed their second straight Big 12 Outdoor title
while the Buffaloes won their first men's league track & field
championship since 1947.
This was the first Big 12 Outdoor
Championships in Boulder. The Buffaloes twice hosted Big Eight
Outdoor meets, in 1986 and 1993.
