WHITE OUT Versus Kansas State Saturday

BOULDER ? On Saturday, Jan. 24 basketball fans are encouraged to wear white and help create a WHITEOUT throughout the Coors Events Center as the Colorado men's basketball team takes on the Kansas State Wildcats at 4 p.m.
Also during the game, the CU Athletic Department and the men's basketball office will recognize former CU basketball players during what will be called Homecoming weekend with a special recognition at halftime.
This Friday and Saturday, coach Bzdelik and his staff will welcome back former alumni and honor those who have played for past Buffalo teams. On Friday, a reception from 6-9 p.m. will be held at the Broker Inn, and on Saturday former players will meet two hours before tip at the Events Center.
Alums will also have the opportunity to tour the newly refurbished locker room and weight room at the Coors Events Center, and will then join the Buff Club for pregame on the second level at 2:30 pm.
For more information, please call C-Club director Bill Harris at 303-492-5065 or at bill.harris@cufund.org.
In addition, the first 1,000 students through the Student Entrance (southeast) with a valid Buff OneCard will receive a FREE CU Basketball white t-shirt.
Coach Bzdelik and the rest of the coaching staff are looking to build on the success of last year's whiteout and hope this will become a yearly tradition that all CU Hoops fans will look forward to and participate in much like the blackout game for football the past two years.
Tickets for the Kansas State game start at just $8 for adults and $3 for youth and can be purchased at CUBuffs.com, by calling 303-49-BUFFS, or at the Coors Events Center box office on the day of the game.
