First Serve Tennis Event this Saturday
BOULDER ? Tennis fans of all ages are invited to attend the second annual First Serve tennis event with the University of Colorado tennis team hosted by the Millennium Harvest House this Saturday, Jan. 10. Sign ups the day of are welcome.
The event is open to the public and it will be an opportunity for local fans to meet 'n greet with the 2008-09 women’s tennis team. It will also be an opportunity for fans of all ages to hit and practice with the team.
“With the spring season starting next week, the First Serve event is a great opportunity for everyone to come out and play tennis with the team,” said CU head coach Nicole Kenneally.
The event begins from 2-6 p.m. to play tennis with the team until 4 p.m. The meet and greet reception follows from 4-6 p.m.
Admission is $50 for adults, $20 for ages 7-13, and ages 6 and under are free.
