Ice Hockey Team Part of USA Hockey Weekend

BOULDER--The University of Colorado hockey team took part in the USA Hockey Weekend across America on Saturday February 14 with support from the Hyland Hills Hockey Association.
Hockey Weekend across America is a yearly initiative led by USA Hockey throughout the hockey community to celebrate the game with those involved and also expose the game to new audiences while providing opportunities to those who havenGÇÖt played before.
The Buffs participated in USA HockeyGÇÖs GÇ£One GoalGÇ¥ program at the Ice Centre at the Promenade in Westminster on Saturday. The One Goal program is meant to introduce young people to the sport.
The Ice Centre at the Promenade is located at 10710 Westminster Blvd. in Westminster, Colo.
The Buffs along with the Hyland Hills Hockey Association were at the Ice Arena signing autographs, talking, and skating with kids who are interested in the game of hockey.
That night the CU hockey team invited everyone to come to a very special ValentineGÇÖs Senior Night at the CU Ice Arena inside the Student Recreation Center on campus for the final home game of the year.
The Buffs took on the University of Arizona Ice Cats at 7:30 P.M.
