Join The Pink Zone Wednesday

BOULDER -- Join the University of Colorado and the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) in the fight against breast cancer on Pink Zone night against the University of Kansas on Wednesday, Feb. 18, at 7 p.m. at the Coors Events/Conference Center.
Colorado is proud to support the WBCA's Pink Zone initiative which is a global, unified effort for the organizationGÇÖs nation of coaches to assist in raising breast cancer awareness on the court, accross campuses, in communities and beyond. Over 1,500 schools nation wide have joined the fight against breast cancer with Pink Zone activities, Feb. 13-22.
All fans are encouraged to wear pink on Wednesday, and those that do can purchase general admission tickets for only $3. Additionally, the first 500 fans in attendance will receive a free pair of Pink Crocs.
ColoradoGÇÖs womenGÇÖs basketball team will be wearing pink Nike shooting shirts, shoelaces and hair bands during its game with the Jayhawks. CU head coach Kathy McConnell-Miller would also like to invite all cancer survivors out to the floor to build a tunnel for the team introductions prior to tip-off.
