Bohn, Bzdelik On Colorado 2031

DENVER ? University of Colorado athletic director Mike Bohn and men’s basketball coach Jeff Bzdelik are this week’s guests on the popular program Colorado 2031, hosted by long-time Denver broadcast journalist Ron Zappolo.
The show will air this Sunday night, March 22, at 10:00 p.m. following KDVR-TV’s (Ch. 31) Sunday news.
The trio touched upon several subjects, including the current state of CU athletics, which Bohn has been canvassing the Front Range with the recent Your Team Town Hall Meetings, and the bright future of CU men’s basketball at a time when the state and country is engulfed in March Madness and tournament brackets and pools.
Zappolo is no stranger to Colorado athletics. He was the top sportscaster in Denver for two decades at both the CBS (KCNC) and NBC (KUSA) affiliates before moving over into news and features when he joined Fox31 in 2000. He spent two years as the color commentator for CU football broadcasts on KOA-Radio in 1979-80, teaming with Larry Zimmer, and also did play-by-play for a number of Buff games that aired on KCNC.
Note: Once aired, those interested who were unable to watch the initial broadcast or want to watch again can do so on KDVR's website at this link: http://www.kdvr.com/news/colorado2031/.
