Bzdelik on Colorado 2031

DENVER ? University of Colorado men’s basketball coach Jeff Bzdelik is this week’s guest on the popular program Colorado 2031, hosted by long-time Denver broadcast journalist Ron Zappolo. The show will air this Sunday night, May 3, at 10:00 p.m. following KDVR-TV’s (Ch. 31) Sunday news.

 

          Bzdelik, who served as the Denver Nuggets head coach from 2002-05, will also be joined in studio by former Nuggets head coaches Bill Hanzlik (1997-98) and Doug Moe (1980-1990).

 

          Zappolo is no stranger to Colorado athletics.  He was the top sportscaster in Denver for two decades at both the CBS (KCNC) and NBC (KUSA) affiliates before moving over into news and features when he joined Fox31 in 2000.  He spent two years as the color commentator for CU football broadcasts on KOA-Radio in 1979-80, teaming with Larry Zimmer, and also did play-by-play for a number of Buff games that aired on KCNC.
