Whitney Houston Takes Leave Of Absence

BOULDER - University of Colorado junior guard Whitney Houston has taken a leave of absence from the women's basketball team for personal reasons Kathy McConnell-Miller announced Saturday, prior to CU's Big 12 Conference opening win over Missouri.
Houston, a native of Memphis, Tenn., has appeared in 12 of CU's 13 games, logging two starts and averaging 4.2 points and 1.3 assists per game.
No timetable has been set on her return.
