BOULDER-The University of Colorado athletic department is joining forces with Century Chevy and Community Food Share to help families this holiday season by giving complimentary CU-Kansas State football tickets to anyone that drops off non-perishable food items to Century Chevy between now and Nov. 19.  Century Chevy is located at 6105 W. 120th Ave. in Broomfield, Colo.

CU student-athletes also will be collecting non-perishable food items prior to the 12:10 p.m. kickoff against Kansas State on Saturday, Nov. 20.

"We are excited to be a part of this food drive," said Century Chevy General Manager Ryan Sherman.  "As a family-owned business here in the Broomfield community, we hope that this partnership with CU Athletics and Community Food Share will help support our local families, especially during the holidays."

Non-perishable items most needed include but are not limited to canned fruit, 100 percent fruit juice, cold & hot cereal, tuna, peanut butter, and pasta sauce.

Community Food Share is a non-profit organization that helps to fight hunger in Boulder and Broomfield Counties.
