The Westlake Village, Calif. native was one of four freshmen on the 2009-10 roster. He played in 24 games, averaged 2.4 points and 1.6 rebounds per game. Hornbuckle, a 6-7 guard/forward, also averaged 11.4 minutes in a reserve role, shot 24-of-53 from the field (.453), and was 9-of-18 from the three-point arc.
Hornbuckle missed six games during the season with a right shoulder injury. He also collected 13 assists, 10 steals and three blocked shots for the Buffaloes during their 15-16 campaign in 2009-10.
