Game Audio, Hawkins Radio Show Returns To CUBuffs.com
CUBuffs.com 'Buffs Radio' audio coverage begins this Wednesday (Sept. 1) with the first installment of the Dan Hawkins Radio Show, presented by Geico. Coach Hawkins and AM 850 KOA personalities Mark Johnson and Larry Zimmer will broadcast the show each Wednesday from 7-8 p.m. LIVE from the Lazy Dog Sports Bar and Grill.
The Lazy Dog is Boulder's premier sports bar and music venue. Located right in the heart of downtown Boulder at the center of the Pearl Street Mall (1346 Pearl Street), the Lazy Dog boasts a huge rooftop deck, downstairs game room and over 300 seats which promises to make a great atmosphere for this year's show. Arrive early for Happy Hour food and beverage prices (3-6 p.m.) and enjoy other drink specials during the show.
This season's Dan Hawkins show will also feature interviews with a variety of current and former players plus special guests. Fans can also submit their questions to the radio show online. Click here to submit a question and stay tuned each week to see if your question is answered on air.
CUBuffs.com in-game Buffs Radio coverage begins Saturday with the Cinch Jeans Rocky Mountain Showdown pregame show at 10 a.m. Catch all 12 regular season games with pregame two hours before each contest as Johnson and Zimmer will be in the booth and joined by former CU offensive lineman Victor Rogers who will report from the sidelines. Live audio will also be available for CU's men's and women's basketball games which are broadcast on either AM 760 KKZN or AM 1190 KVCU.
