BOULDER - University of Colorado women's tennis assistant coach Cannon Campbell is leaving the tennis program to pursue personal endeavors.  Campbell, whose family resides in Georgia, is returning home to work in the family business.

"Coach Campbell was a great addition to the program, but ultimately this opportunity to return home to his family was too great to refuse," said CU head coach Nicole Kenneally. "The Colorado tennis family is thankful for his time in Boulder and wish him all the best in his new endeavors."

Campbell was named assistant coach last July after serving as an Owner/Director of a highly successful tennis club and tennis academy at the Windward Lake Club in Alpharetta, Ga.

"It was great to be involved in the program at Colorado," Campbell said. "CU provides great opportunities to young women who love and aspire to be their best on and off the court. I had a lot of fun this year and I will be following the team online and look forward to following their progress."
