BOULDER - University of Colorado men's basketball senior-to-be Austin Dufault is among 10 student-athletes chosen to compete with Athletes In Action on a two-week tour of Macedonia and Kosovo in Eastern Europe from May 25-30.

The Killdeer, N.D., native will play on the team with nine other student-athletes, Cory Jefferson and A.J. Walton of Baylor and Jordan Juenemann and Jeff Withey of Kansas. Others include Florida's Scottie Wilbekin, Indiana State's Jake Kitchell, Mercer's Langston Hall and Northwestern State's William Mosley.  The group will be coached by Baylor's director of basketball operations Tim Maloney.

Dufault will depart May 19 with the team and begin a four-day training camp in Strumica, Macedonia.  The squad will play a round-robin tournament May 25-30 against the U20 Macedonia national team, U20 Holland national team and selected pros from Poland and Bulgaria.  The team will conclude its tour May 31 against the Kosovo national team in Kosovo's capital, Pristina.

The squad is one of eight Athletes In Action international-touring men's and women's basketball teams this summer.  This will be the group's third tour of Macedonia.

Dufault is a three-year letterwinner with the Buffaloes and will be one of four seniors on the team in 2011-12. The 6-9, 225-pound forward started all 38 games last season averaging 6.6 points, 4.2 rebounds helping CU win the most games in its history (24).

Entering the 2011-12 campaign, Dufault is ranked among the school's all-time leaders in a number of categories including seventh in starts (95); 20th in minutes played (2,464); and 34th in games played (100). Dufault is also 46th in rebounding (370) and tied for 63rd in scoring (678 pts.).
