until the start of basketball season, Buffs Madness, the University
of ColoradoGÇÖs event centered around the opening of the 2012-13
basketball season, is taking shape. The event takes place
Friday, October 12, immediately following the Buffs volleyball game

Both the volleyball game and Buffs Madness are free to
students and the general public.
After the conclusion of the
volleyball match, estimated at about 8:30 p.m., the attention will
turn to the start of basketball. The event will feature many
fun elements including team introductions, scrimmages, contests,

have become a staple of the student section at the Events Center,
will be debuted.
In addition to both the womenGÇÖs

of Buffs Madness. One lucky person in attendance will also
win a trip for two to accompany the menGÇÖs team play at Kansas on
December 8.
