CLEVELAND GÇô In the first set of fall Division I Learfield Sports DirectorsGÇÖ Cup standings, Colorado has scored a high of 172 points, capturing the menGÇÖs cross country title and finishing seventh overall in womenGÇÖs cross country.

Michigan State is in second place with 160.5 and in third is Providence with 158.5 points. The Virginia Cavaliers are in fourth with a total of 157 points and rounding out the top five is Princeton with 156 total points.

To date, three fall NCAA championships have been completed with the following institutions capturing titles: womenGÇÖs cross country GÇô Providence; menGÇÖs cross country GÇô Colorado; field hockey - Connecticut.

Oregon is the next Pac-12 school on the list in eighth place.  Stanford, which has captured 19 straight Directors' Cups, is the third Pac-12 school in 14th place.  Among Centennial State scohols, the Buffs lead Air Force (31st) and Colorado State (49th).

The Learfield Sports DirectorsGÇÖ Cup was developed as a joint effort between the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) and USA Today. Points are awarded based on each institution's finish in up to 20 sports -- 10 womenGÇÖs and 10 menGÇÖs.

The next Division I fall standings will be released Thursday, December 19.
