Sanchez Adds Nine With Second Recruiting Class

BOULDER - University of Colorado head soccer coach Danny Sanchez officially announced his second recruiting class Wednesday.
Seven student-athletes signed national letters of intent to begin their collegiate careers at Colorado in the 2013 season. Two players, Tori Cooper and Brooke Rice, continue their journey after transferring from other Division I programs.
"This is a great day for Colorado soccer," Sanchez said. "We feel that we have addressed a lot of different areas within our program. We have added student-athletes that have tremendous backgrounds with top clubs, state and regional ODP experience as well as international representation. Along with being talented players, each of our signees is a great student who will represent Colorado with class on and off the field. We are very excited to get all of them on campus this fall!"
Californians lead the group, with four players hailing from the Golden State. Washington delivers two players, while Nevada and Wyoming each contribute one. For the first time in program history, an Australian player will wear a Buffs jersey.
