Jerman Earns NSCAA Scholar All-West Region Recognition

Jerman has been named a 2014 National Soccer Coaches
Association of America (NSCAA) WomenGÇÖs University Division Scholar
All-West Region Honorable Mention.
Jerman, a Colorado Springs, Colo. native started all 22 matches and
was second on the team with a career-high 14 points as she helped
the Buffaloes advance to the second round of the NCAA Tournament
for a second consecutive year. During her final year in black and
gold, Jerman set a single-season personal best with five goals,
four assists and 43 shots with 22 on frame. The CU co-captainGÇÖs
1,782 minutes played was third most among her teammates. A strong
leader on and off the pitch for the Buffaloes in 2014, she recorded
a team-high three game-winning goals and was a perfect 2-2 on CUGÇÖs
penalty kick opportunities. Her first successful penalty kick came
in a pivotal match against in-state rival Denver, which gave the
Buffs a 2-1 win over the Pioneers after converting the PK in the
final minute of the match. She also tallied at least one point in
the each of the final three matches of the regular season with two
goals and one assist to close out Pac-12 Conference play.
This is the second postseason award Jerman has earned for her
accomplishments in the classroom this year. She also was named a
Pac-12 All-Academic Honorable Mention. Jerman has posted a 3.41 GPA
while majoring in marketing.
