Parking Details, Fans Encouraged To Wear Black For CSU Game
BOULDERGÇöThe University of Colorado menGÇÖs basketball team will play host to Colorado State Wednesday at the Coors Events Center with a 7 p.m. tipoff.
Fans are encouraged to wear black for the in-state rivalry and thanks to Pepsi, there will be 10,000 free CU t-shirts handed out.
Due to the fact that campus classes are in session until 5:30 p.m., higher than normal volumes of traffic are expected and fans arriving to campus should plan for delays, particularly in the area of Regent Drive.
ChipGÇÖs Corral will open at 5 p.m. as will campus parking for the game. The doors to the Coors Events Center will open at 6 p.m. Please additionally allow time for security screenings.
CU will offer shuttle service from East Campus to the 28th Street Frontage Road starting at 5:30 p.m. and drop fans off at the 28th Street Frontage Road for easy access to the Coors Events Center via a pedestrian tunnel under 28th Street. Shuttles will remain active until 10:30 p.m.
East Campus is located between 30th Street and Foothills Parkway on Colorado Ave. Parking on East Campus is the McAllister Lot (546). From Colorado Avenue, turn North on Discovery Drive, take your second right and first left to access Lot 546.
