QUICKLY: Following a bye week, the University of Colorado lacrosse team gets back in action on Tuesday, March 4. The Buffaloes host Temple in their first ever home game at Kittredge Field. First draw is at 3 p.m.

SCOUTING THE TEMPLE OWLS: After a two game losing skid, the Temple Owls bounced back with a 10-8 win over Mountain Pacific Sports Federation opponent  Oregon. Temple holds a 2-2 overall record, but has fallen in its only road game of the young season (a 17-9 defeat at Cornell). Eleven Owls have scored this season, with six players netting three goals or more. Senior Jaymie Tabor leads the squad with 11 goals off 22 shots and ranks 18th in the nation with a 3.67 goals per game average. Freshman Morgan Glassford has recorded three goals, an assist and seven ground balls. Goalies Jaqi Kakalecik and Rachel Hall have each spent 120 minutes in the crease, allowing a total of 39 goals and grabbing 21 combined saves. Kakalecik ranks in the nationGÇÖs top 23 in goals-against average (7.00) and save percentage (.500).

KITTREDGE FIELD: Kittredge Field, located on Kittredge Loop on the eastern edge of the University of ColoradoGÇÖs Main Campus, is the official home of Colorado lacrosse. Kitt Field showcases BoulderGÇÖs Flatiron Mountains and a pristine field courtesy of CUGÇÖs turf management team.  While there are bleachers for approximately 350, fans of CU lacrosse are welcome to bring lawn chairs and blankets to sit on in the open areas. Amenities for Colorado lacrosse fans include concessions and bathrooms in the Coors Events Center concourse and free game programs. Parking in Lot 416 is free beginning one hour prior to each game. LAST TIME OUT: After falling to reigning regular season conference champions Denver in their MPSF opener, the Buffs came back with a 13-10 win over Regis in CUGÇÖs inaugural home opener. A total of 812 fans came to the historic game to cheer the Buffs to victory. The Buffs did a great job of spreading the offense, with eight different players scoring goals, two netting hat tricks and two scoring their first goals. Johnna Fusco had a game-high five points off of three goals and two assists. Fusco also grabbed a game-high seven ground balls and six draw controls. Sarah Lautman scored her first goal for the Buffs just 30 seconds into the game, and earned her first hat trick with 14:32 remaining in the second half. Tori Link also netted her first collegiate goal against Regis, helping the Buffs to their biggest lead of the game, 13-6, with 13:16 remaining. Though the Buffs grabbed a seven goal lead, the game was a tight match-up. CU just edged Regis in shots (28 to 21) and draw controls (15 to 10). In the final 11:18 of the game, Regis closed the game on a 4-0 run, but it wasnGÇÖt enough to ever grab a lead over CU.  

QUICK DRAW: The Buffs are strong on the draw, grabbing 55 draw controls to their opponentGÇÖs 44. Johnna Fusco and Marie Moore each rank in the nationGÇÖs top 33 in draw controls, grabbing 19 and 18, respectively.

SUNNY GETTING SAVES: Lead goalie Paige GÇ£SunnyGÇ¥ Soenksen has spent over 224 minutes in the crease this season, posting a 12.31 goals-against average. She has grabbed 34 saves, which ranks 18th in the nation. Her 8.50 saves per game average also ranks in the nationGÇÖs top 25.

THE FUSCO, THE PROUD: Four games into her freshman season, Johnna Fusco has already set herself apart from the herd. Fusco has team-highs in seven major categories, with nine goals, six assists, 15 points, 22 shots, 19 shots on goal, 10 ground balls and 19 draw controls. She is the only Buff to have five or more points in a single game (a feat sheGÇÖs accomplished twice) and the only one to record three assists in a game. Fusco has also set single game records in ground balls and shots, while tying a game-high in draw controls. Fusco became the first Buff to earn MPSF player of week honors after a Rookie of the Week performance in her first two collegiate games.

LOOK OUT, ITGÇÖS LAUT: Sarah Lautman, one of two upperclassmen on the team, has been an important part of the BuffsGÇÖ midfield, scooping up eight ground balls and causing three turnovers. Not only did she score her first goal against Regis, but she added two more to get her first hat trick in CUGÇÖs inaugural home game.

THE MOORE THE MERRIER: Co-captain Marie Moore has been a great leader for the young Buffs, holding one of the teamGÇÖs most impressive stat lines. Moore leads the team with four caused turnovers and ranks second with 18 draw controls, 17 shots and eight goals.
