Chip, CU Spirit To Join In Taste Of Colorado Pep Rally
DENVER ? The University of Colorado costumed mascot, Chip, the Golden Buffalo Marching Band and the CU cheerleaders and dance team will all be present at the Rocky Mountain Showdown Pep Rally at the Taste of Colorado on Friday afternoon.
CU fans are encouraged to make their way to the Country Stage at the Taste of Colorado at noon to show off your Buffs spirit!
The Taste of Colorado kicks off Friday through Sunday at DenverGÇÖs Civic Center Park (at the intersection of Colfax and Broadway) and includes fun for the whole family including amazing Colorado food, live music, arts and crafts and tons of other attractions over the four day event.
There is also a KidZone offering carnival rides and games, play equipment and free crafts activities on Friday from 11:30 a.m.-7 p.m. Admission is free but festival tickets must be used to purchase food and beverages.
Civic Center Park is accessible by bus, light rail and the 16th Street Free MallRide. Using public transportation is highly encouraged.
