Alexis Robinson capped off her storied four-year prep career by leading Ashland Blazer to its fourth consecutive Kentucky Region 16 championship this spring. She averaged 14.8 points, 7.3 rebounds and 4.3 assists as a senior to help guide the Kittens to a 26-7 overall record and pulling off just the second four-peat in Region 16 since 1975.

Robinson earned Region 16 Tournament MVP honors each of her four seasons. She was the 2015 Kentucky Association of Basketball Coaches Region 16 Player of the Year and a finalist for the Miss Kentucky Basketball award.

GÇ£Alexis will be a great asset to our team and program,GÇ¥said Colorado head coach Linda Lappe as Robinson signed with the Buffaloes last November.GÇ£The intensity at which she plays is contagious. ?She is a super quick and athletic combo guard who can really defend, has a tremendous mid-range game, and is a true triple threat player. ?She is extremely skilled, a very hard worker, and one of the most competitive players IGÇÖve ever recruited. "

Robinson led Ashland to four state tournaments, highlighted by a semifinals appearance in 2014. She is a two-time Area Player of the Year and a 2014 member of the Lexington Herald Leader All-State team (with the 2015 awards yet to be announced).

Robinson is the school's all-time leader in assists (643) and steals (300) while ranking second in career blocks (219) and third in points (1,855). She was rated by ESPN HoopGurlz as the 91st best player in the nation and 21st guard.
