T&F Set to Host CU Invitational

BOULDER GÇöThe University of Colorado track and field team will host the CU Invitational this Friday and Saturday, April 10-11, at Potts Field.
The menGÇÖs and womenGÇÖs javelin and hammer throws will be contested on Friday, starting at 3 p.m. SaturdayGÇÖs events will start at 11 a.m. with the shot put, discus, pole vault, long jump, high jump and 3,000-meter steeplechase. The field events will run on a rolling schedule while the track events will follow a time schedule. The final event scheduled for the track is the menGÇÖs 4x400-meter relay at 3:30 p.m. A complete meet schedule is available at CUBuffs.com.
The Buffaloes will host several Front Range schools this weekend. Air Force, Colorado State, Colorado School of Mines, Metro State and UC-Colorado Springs are scheduled to compete along with many unattached athletes.
