COACH ELLIOTT ON ASCHMAN: GÇ£Olivia is a phenomenal young lady in all she has accomplished in her high school career athletically, academically and in the community. She has the ability to play many positions for us which is exciting. Olivia is the type of player that is always doing the little things and working hard. She will add speed, endurance and athleticism to our program and I look forward to seeing all she accomplishes here at CU.GÇ¥

HIGH SCHOOL: Aschman was First Team All-Conference for four years and First Team All-State for three years in high school and earned team MVP for lacrosse her sophomore and senior seasons, earning a total of five letters. She played on the NCISAA State Champions team in 2012 and the TISAC Conference Champions team from 2011-15. The accomplishment she is most proud of is winning the state championship and scoring four goals in the title game. In her career, Aschman tallied 372 points, 109 assists, 263 goals and 218 ground balls. In addition to lacrosse, she played volleyball and ran cross country. In 2014, she was a part of the TISAC Conference Champions team for cross country and was fifth in the state meet and third in the conference meet. Aschman earned three letters in volleyball as a setter and had greater than a 95 percent serve accuracy.

IN THE CLASSROOM: Aschman is an integrated physiology major.

PERSONAL: Olivia Marie Aschman was born in Raleigh, N.C. on March 7, 1997 to parents Carl and Valarie Aschman. Aschman is a certified lifeguard and swim instructor, and her favorite food is peanut butter. She loves movies, food trucks and going to the beach. After graduation, Aschman would like to pursue a career in the health profession and potentially attend medical school.
