-        Tonight’s starting lineup for Colorado: Fortune, King, White, Johnson, Gordon

-        Colorado notches its first victory against Seattle in three tries.

-        There were nine lead changes in first half, and 11 overall, before Colorado took the lead for good at 34-33 on a George King 3-pointer at the 18:45 mark in the second half

-        Colorado shot 0-of-8 from 3-point range in the first half after shooting 7-of-11 in the first half of the season opener. Colorado was shooting only 1-of-15 from downtown before Josh Fortune made two straight 3-pointers late in the second half

-        After only attempting 18 free-throws the entire game against Sacramento State, Colorado nearly equaled the number of attempts in the just the first half against Seattle - shooting 11-of-17. They nearly tripled the total number of attempts by Seattle at the end of the game – 41-14. Four Colorado players had at least eight free throw attempts. 

-        In Seattle’s season opener, seniors Brendan Westendorf and William Powell scored a combined 40 points. They were held to just 21 tonight against Colorado.

-        The Buffs recorded only one steal in the season opener against Sacramento State. Five players recorded a block or steal in tonight’s victory against the Redhawks.

-        In back-to-back games, Derrick White and Xavier Johnson score the first two baskets for Colorado. They scored the team’s first 9 points of the game and 16 of the team’s 31 in the first half. They finished with a combined 28.

-        Xavier Johnson joins the 1,000-point club tonight (1,009). He is now the 33rd player in Colorado history to reach this milestone.

Wesley Gordon

-       Gordon reached double-digit rebounds in the first half with 10 – and finished with 14. He has now reached double-digits in rebounding for the 22nd time in his career. He grabbed his 700th career rebound - the 11th player in school history to do so (705). Gordon is averaging 13.0 rebounds over the first two games. This was the seventh time in his career recording two or more straight games with double-figure rebounds (includes two stretches of three straight games)

-        11 points and 14 rebounds make his 11th career double-double

Thomas Akyazili

-        Coming off the bench, Akyazili has led team in assists the two games of the season – averaging 5.0.
