Overview
Due to the construction of our new state-of-the-art Indoor Practice Facility (IPF) that benefits all CU student-athletes, we are no longer able to park cars on Franklin Field as part of the football game day experience.
We recognize that tailgating on Franklin Field represents an important part of the game day experience for so many of our loyal fans, and it is never easy to disrupt long established game day traditions.
We truly appreciate the patience and support of our donors and fans as we have worked to develop a new tailgating experience on Franklin Field that will offer something for everyone.
We are excited to introduce the Franklin Field Tailgate Zone!
Our Vision
We know that tailgating means different things to different people, and every tailgate is unique. We also know that tailgate cultures vary widely in different parts of the country. As passionate as the tailgating culture in Boulder is, we believe it can be even stronger!
Our vision for Franklin Field is to create a new “Tailgate Zone,” modeled after, but not intended to replicate, the most celebrated tailgating venue in college football – “The Grove” at the Ole Miss.
We believe that the less you have to worry about, and the more you can focus on simply showing up and having a great time, the more likely you are to arrive early, often, and ready to cheer on the Buffs!
To assist us in developing this vision, we have partnered with SevenSouth Tailgating, the largest tailgating service provider at “The Grove.” SevenSouth’s mission is to take the work and stress out of tailgating to enrich the already wonderful game day experience.
