Colorado Starters: Dominique Collier, Derrick White, George King, Xavier Johnson, Wesley Gordon

The Buffaloes had a strong start to the second half, making their first seven field goals. The Buffaloes shot 59.4 percent in the second half, its second best 20 minutes this season trailing only the 65.2 percent in the second half of the win over Wofford (15 of 23). At 56.5 percent overall, it was Colorado’s second best shooting night of the season just a fraction behind the Wofford game (.5652 to .5645)

Colorado’s 25 assists is a season high, its most since dishing out 25 against Washington State in 2015.

Six Colorado players scored in double digits, marking the second time this season. The Buffs also had six in the home win over Washington.

Colorado had season-highs with 91 points and 35 field goals made. Colorado has now hit the 80 point mark nine times in the last 14 games.

The Buffaloes are now 11-9 against the Cardinal, winning the last 8 of 9 since joining the Pac-12. In Boulder, the Buffs lead the series 7-3 with a current four game win streak.

Tad Boyle now has his 100th win at the Coors Events Center (100-19); it is also Boyle’s 147th win at Colorado. That puts him tied with Forrest B. “Frosty” Cox (1936-50) for third on CU’s coaching wins list.

Dominique Collier (5 assists, 1 rebound, 1 steal) Is now 33rd Colorado’s all-time assist list with 173. He passed Vince Kelley who has 172 career assists. Collier’s five assists is tied with a season high, the last time he had that many was against Washington.

Wesley Gordon (10 points 4 of 4 FG, 3 rebounds, 5 assists) is now 36th on Colorado’s all-time assist list with 168, he had five tonight to tie a season high. He is also 43rd on Colorado’s all-time points list with 852. He has made his last eight field goal attempts. This was his 10th double digit scoring game of the season; his second game in a row and 4th time with back-to-back double digit scoring games this season. Gordon is also 12th on Colorado’s all time minutes played list with 3,314; he just passed Marcus Hall who played 3,294 minutes. Gordon had one block, putting him at 197 for his career, second all-time at CU.

Xavier Johnson (15 points, 9 rebounds, 1 steal) is now 8th on Colorado’s all-time games played list with 123. He is currently tied with Levi Knutson, Stephane Pelle, and Will Smith. He is 13th on Colorado’s all-time rebound list with 682. Johnson made his 125th career 3-pointer, tying for 10th all-time at Colorado.

George King (15 points, 5 rebounds, 3 of 5 3P) with 15 points in today’s game he is now 42nd on Colorado’s all-time points list with 855. He tied a season high of two assists.

Lucas Siewert (15 points, 4 of 5 3P, 3 rebounds) set a season high of 15 points; his previous best was 12 points against Washington. He also set a season high making four of five 3-point attempts.  His two assists ties a season high

Derrick White (9 points, 8 assists) tallied at least eight assists for the third time this year, in fact had eight in the win at Stanford last month. His 128 assists are tied for 16th on CU’s single-season list.
