No Ralphie: for the third time in her 11-year career, Ralphie V did not run today (also 2017 vs. Washington and 2015 vs. Oregon, both times due to rain) … Snow started falling at Folsom Field at 8:07 a.m. (three hours earlier than the weather “actors” predicted) … The 28 degree temperature at kickoff tied the 15th coldest for a game in CU history (tie-10th at home) … Colorado is now 18-10-1 in its history when it has been 32 degrees or colder at kickoff (coldest ever was 7 degrees against Colorado A&M in 1911) … CU won the coin toss for the sixth straight game (8-3) this season … Utah has now won two in a row in the series to pull to within 32-30-2 (includes owning a 5-2 edge since both schools joined the Pac-12 in 2011) … The last game for the Buffs where both teams had just one score in the first half was on Oct. 22, 2016, when the Buffs led 7-3 at Stanford … S Kyle Trego made his first career start … The first half was largely played on the team’s respective sides of the field (only 18 of 68 plays in plus territory).
Season Attendance. With today’s attendance (tickets sold count) of 39,360, the final numbers for the season are 274,852, an average of 45,808.7 per six home games.
First Quarter Buffs. Colorado has now outscored the opponent 94-31 in the first quarter; the Buffs have not allowed a first quarter touchdown for six straight games, which is tied for the fourth-longest active streak nationally.

SEASON FINALE AT CAL: CU athletic director Rick George has been in conversations with the Pac-12 if the California wildfires require moving the location of CU’s game at Cal on Nov. 24. At this time, a decision won’t be made until early in the week if the game needs to be moved to another location; playing in Boulder, however, is very remote.
