Colorado’s 29 points and 33.3 percent shooting in the first half was a low for any half this season. The Buffaloes made just 2 of their first 12 shots but rebounded to make 10 of their final 24. Lucas Siewert and McKinley Wright IV combined 7 of 14 in the first half while the rest of the team was 5 of 22 from the field.
Colorado scored 57 points and shot 70.4 percent in the second half. The 57 points tied a season-high for a half (Air Force). Colorado prevailed despite allowing Colorado State to shoot 51.7 percent. The win snapped a nine-game skid the Buffaloes had when allowing their opponent 50 percent shooting or better.
