Scripps PNG

Mission

Through innovative, holistic, and individualized support programs, the Scripps Leadership & Career Development program provides student-athletes resources and opportunities to explore and pursue their passion while preparing them to continually thrive and achieve long term success.

Champions Begin with Leaders

Colorado student-athletes compete at the highest level of collegiate athletics. They are leaders in competition and in the classroom, but need the support and guidance to apply these tools to be leaders in their communities in life beyond Colorado Athletics.

In order to achieve our vision – providing a world-class holistic student-athlete experience – Colorado Athletics must continue to diversify and grow the breadth of resources we provide to our student-athletes, and develop the WHOLE person.

The Scripps Leadership and Career Development Program, creates opportunities for student-athletes to discover their passions and leverage their experiences for continued individual and professional success.

“Our Leadership and Career Development Program is a vital piece to achieving the holistic student-athlete experience we strive for at Colorado. By providing unique resources and opportunities, we are able to prepare our student-athletes for their life after CU.” - Rick George, Director of Athletics
