Colorado-Stanford Notes
Colorado extends its win streak against the Cardinal to nine with six of those wins coming by eight or fewer points. The Buffaloes have won the last five of the series in Boulder. The Buffaloes own the series lead, 12-9.
The 20 points from Stanford in the first half is the lowest scoring half from the Cardinal since December 2016 (19 points, vs SMU 12/19/2016). Colorado has held its last three opponents to 22.7 points per game on 28-of-85 from the field (29.4%) in the first half.
Colorado has held its opponents to a combined eight assists over the last two games.

Lucas Siewert (17 points, 5-of-7, 4-of-6 3FG, 3-of-4 FT, 7 rebounds) scored a career high 17 points matching his personal best with four 3-pointers – which he achieved in last year’s home win over Stanford. He tied his career high with seven rebounds; the most for him in a Pac-12 game. He has scored in double-figures in three of the last four games and is averaging 8.8 points per game over the last seven. Siewert is averaging 16 points against Stanford in the last two meetings.  He led the Buffaloes in scoring for the first time this season and second in his career.
George King (11 points, 5-of-12 FG, 1-of-2 3FG, 9 rebounds) Moves to 19th on Colorado’s all-time rebound list with 635. He has grabbed 95 rebounds over the last 11 games (8.6 rpg). King also moved into sole possession of fifth in career 3-pointers made at 171.
McKinley Wright IV (10 points, 7 assists, 6 rebounds) recorded his ninth game with at least seven assists. Moved his season total to 135, third best by a freshman in team history and just eight away from Chauncey Billups’ freshman record of 143 set in 1995-96. Overall his mark is 15th on CU’s single-season list. His six rebounds match his best in a Pac-12 game, which he’s done three times overall, including the last two.
