Colorado narrows UCLA’s advantage in the series to 11-4 as the Buffaloes claim a home-and-home sweep over the Bruins for the first time.

Colorado snaps a three game losing streak and guarantees itself a record of .500 or better for the seventh time in coach Tad Boyle’s eight seasons.

UCLA loses for just the third time in the last nine games and has dropped three straight on the road.

This is the first time in eight games Colorado has reached at least 70 points. The Buffs finished with 80 points; now 6-0 this season when scoring 80-89.
The Buffs are 13-0 this season when leading at halftime.

Colorado had season-highs for 3-pointers made (14) and attempted (30). The 14 3-pointers are the most by the Buffaloes since they had 17 vs. Oklahoma State on Jan. 30, 2005. The attempts are the most since putting up 33 at UCF in the 2017 NIT (9 of 33).

Colorado snapped a 13-game skid when being outshot by its opponent (field goal percentage) although by the slimmest of margins (.414 for CU, .415 for UCLA). The Buffs pick up the win despite being outshot for just the third time in the last 26 games.

George King (16 points, 4-of-11 FG, 3-of-9 3FG, 5-of-6 FT, 4 rebounds) moves into Colorado’s top 20 in career scoring, now with 1,257. He also moved into 16th in rebounds (662) and eighth in games played (124).

Dominique Collier (19 points, 5-9 3FG, 3 assists, 2 steals) season-high in points, his second-most of his career (21 at Washington State) and most points at the Coors Events Center. He also made a season-high five 3-point field goals. He moved into 21st in career steals (98) and 27th for career starts (67). He is 9 of 16 from 3-point range the last three games (.563).

McKinley Wright IV (10 points 4-of-13 FG, 4 rebounds, 8 assists) Colorado’s all-time leader for assists in a freshman season moved into a tie with Mike Reid (1984-85) for sixth overall in a season. It’s his 19th game of the season with five or more assists and fourth with at least eight.

Lucas Siewert (15 points, 7-8 FT, 5 rebounds) set new career-highs for free throws made and attempted (previous was four in each category). Scores in double-figures for the ninth game this season and has done so in five of the last eight games. Averaged 15.5 points and shot 56 percent (9 of 16) against USC & UCLA.
