Colorado improves its series lead over Washington State to 13-4 and has won all eight meetings in Boulder.

Colorado’s 11 3-pointers made was its most at home this season and second most overall (14 at Air Force). The Buffaloes were 11 of 27 (.407) from long range after going 5 of 26 in their previous game at Arizona State (.192).
 
Colorado’s featured its fourth starting lineup of the season and third in the last three games. Freshman Daylen Kountz made his first collegiate start.

Tyler Bey (26 points, 10 rebounds, 10-13 FG) career and team season high with 26 points. Recorded his seventh career double-double and fifth of the season. Career and team season-high 10 field goals made. He scored the team’s first eight points of the game. Bey had just seven points total in the game at Arizona State and 22 points over the previous four outings (10-28, .357 over that span). He logged his eighth double-figure rebounding game of the season and his seventh in the last 10 games.
 
Shane Gatling (17 points, 5-10 3FG) recorded personal CU-highs in points, and 3-pointers made and attempted. His 10 3-point attempts are a team season-high and his five made match Namon Wright (Drake) for the team season lead. Gatling had made just five 3-pointers over the previous seven contests (5-22, .227).
 
D’Shawn Schwartz (16 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists) career highs in points and assists. He recorded back-to-back double figure scoring games for the second time this year (USD-UIC). It was overall his sixth double-figure scoring game of the season and eighth in his career. Seven rebounds were one off his personal-best and he is averaging 6.3 boards over the last three games.
 
McKinley Wright IV (10 points, 7 assists, 2 steals) has scored in double figures in 40 of 47 career games and dished out at least five assists in 32 outings. He bounced back with seven assists after recording just six total in the two-game swing in Arizona. He has tied Richard Roby (2004-08) for 16th in career assists at Colorado with 257. It was his ninth game with at least two steals and third straight. He is averaging 2.3 steals the last three games.
 
Evan Battey (14 rebounds, 3 assists) recorded a career-high in rebounds and one off Tyler Bey’s team season high of 15. He’s the only CU player other than Bey with at least 11 rebounds in a game this season.
