Tad Boyle records his 200th win as Colorado’s head coach. He’s the second Colorado coach to reach 200 wins in program history joining Russell “Sox” Walseth who was 261-245 from 1956-76. Boyle’s Colorado record now stands at 200-125, in his 10th season.
 
Colorado finishes the nonconference regular season schedule at 11-2, tying for the best in the Boyle era. It’s CU’s third 11-2 start in the last 10 years, joining the 2013-14 and 2015-16 squads. It’s the fourth 11-win nonconference for the Buffs in the Boyle era. Colorado was 11-4 in 2010-11, its final year in the Big 12 Conference.
 
Colorado tied a school record for 3-pointers made in a game with 17. The Buffaloes also had 17 against Oklahoma State on Jan. 30, 2005. The Buffaloes’ 60.7 percent performance from 3-point range (17-28) is their best since hitting 61.9 percent (13-21) against Arizona State in the first round of the 2018 Pac-12 Tournament.
 
Colorado’s 26 assists are its most since dishing out 27 in a 92-58 win over Cal State Northridge on Dec. 22, 2009 (32 made baskets).
 
Colorado’s 99 points is a season-high and most since scoring 100 in the 2018-19 opener against Drake. The Buffs’ 56.7 field goal percentage (34-60) is their best since shooting 58.6 percent at Air Force on Nov. 24, 2018.
 
Colorado improved to 69-4 since the beginning of the 2010-11 season when shooting 50 percent or better.
 
Colorado improves to 6-0 this season and 65-5 in the Tad Boyle era when holding the opponent under 40 percent shooting and holds a rebound advantage of eight or more.
 
Colorado had seven players score in double figures for the first time since Nov. 16, 2003, a 94-70 win over Jackson State.
 
Colorado had two players with double-doubles for the first time since the Buffs had three vs. Colorado State on Dec. 1, 2018.
 
Colorado improves to 96-31 (.756) in nonconference regular season games under Boyle including a 49-14 (.778) mark since 2014-15. CU is 74-5 in nonconference home games under Boyle, including a perfect 6-0 mark in postseason play.
 
McKinley Wright IV (13 points, 10 assists) records his second-straight double-double and seventh of his career. It’s his fifth points-assists double-double, the third most in team history. His five games with double-figure assists ties him with Chauncey Billups for the fourth most in team history. Wright has scored in double figures in 63 of 79 career games.
 
Evan Battey (12 points, 12 rebounds) records his second career double-double. He has led the Buffaloes in rebounding the last three games and has averaged 11.0 during that span. Battey records back-to-back games of double-figure rebounding for the first time, hitting double-digits for the fifth time overall.
 
D’Shawn Schwartz (14 points, 9 rebounds, 4-6 3FG) tied his career high in rebounds (also had nine at CSU). Led Colorado in scoring for the fourth time this season and seventh in his career. Has made 15 of his last 23 field goals (.652) including 12 of his last 16 from 3-point range (.750).
 
Lucas Siewert hit a pair of free throws, remaining perfect on the season at 12 of 12. All 12 attempts have come in the last five games.
 
Jakub Dombek scored his first collegiate points. His 3-point field goal with 1:18 left in the game was the one that tied CU’s team record of 17.
