Colorado-Oregon Notes

Colorado remains undefeated all time against Oregon in Boulder (8-0) and improves its overall lead in the series to 11-8.
 
Oregon’s 51 points were the fewest allowed by the Buffaloes this season and fewest since allowing 51 to Northern Colorado in the 2017-18 season opener. It was the fewest CU has allowed in a regular season Pac-12 game since California had just 46 on Mar. 4, 2017.
 
Colorado shot 85.7 percent from the line (24-28), matching its season-best percentage wise although the other instance was half the attempts. The Buffaloes were 12 of 14 at Arizona. Colorado was 17 of 20 in the first half, both numbers matching season-highs for one half. The Buffaloes had 20 attempts in the second half vs. Drake and 17 made in the second half vs. UIC. Colorado had been just 23 of 39 from the line the previous two games (.590)
 
Colorado’s Tyler Bey outscored Oregon in the first half. Bey had 18 points on 6 of 6 from the field, while Oregon had 17 points on 6 of 29 shooting. Oregon’s 17 points in the first half were the fewest by a Buffs opponent since holding Washington to 17 in Seattle on March 5, 2015 (30-17 & won 64-47).
 
Colorado’s 17-0 run early in the first half was a season-high. The Buffaloes led 7-5 at the 16:34 minutes mark of the first half and scored 17-straight to take a 24-5 lead with 10:59 left. Oregon scored on a jumper with 10:25 left to end a 6:30 scouring drought.
 
Colorado held Oregon to 31 percent shooting (18-58) and was +14 in rebounds. Colorado improved to 6-0 this season and 56-4 in the Tad Boyle era when holding its opponent to 40 percent shooting and at least +8 in rebounds.
 
Tyler Bey (27 points, 10 rebounds, 9-9 FG, 9-11 FT) recorded his seventh double-double of the season and ninth of his career. His 27 points are career and team-season high. His 9 of 9 performance from the field is the program’s best since David Harrison went 10 for 10 against Baylor on Jan 31, 2004. His nine free throws made matched his personal best while his 11 attempts are a career-high.
 
Daylen Kountz (11 points, 5-6 FT) career-high in free throws made. Recorded his fifth double-figure scoring game of the season.
 
Eli Parquet (5 rebounds, 2 blocks) recorded a career-high in rebounds and his two blocks match is personal-best (Arizona). His seven blocks during Pac-12 play leads the Buffaloes.
