Colorado improved to 18-11 overall and 9-8 in the Pac-12. The win guaranteed the Buffaloes a .500 or better Pac-12 record for the sixth time in Tad Boyle’s nine seasons, but the first since 2015-16. Colorado has won seven of nine since starting the conference season at 2-6.
 
Boyle tied Ricardo Patton for the second-most coaching wins in program history at 184. Boyle is 184-121 in his ninth season. Patton was 184-160 in 12 seasons from 1996-07.
 
Colorado wins its fourth straight over UCLA and narrows the Bruins’ lead to 11-6. The four-straight wins now represents the Buffaloes’ longest current win streak over a Pac-12 opponent.
 
Colorado’s 93 points are its most in a regulation, regular season Pac-12 game since a 100-91 win over Oregon in Boulder on Jan. 5, 2014.
 
The Buffaloes hit 90 points for the fifth time this season, their most since scoring at least 90 in six games in 2015-16.
 
Colorado’s 47 rebounds are its most in a Pac-12 game this season and second-most overall (51 at New Mexico). The Buffaloes enjoyed a plus-12 advantage over UCLA (47-35). The Bruins entered the game leading the Pac-12 in rebounding margin (+5.3). Colorado improved to 7-0 this season and 57-4 in the Boyle era when holding the opponent to 40 percent or less from the field and at least plus-8 on the boards.
 
Colorado had only nine turnovers matching it season-low for the second-straight game (third time with nine this season)
 
Colorado’s 25-point margin of victory is the most the men's team has ever beaten UCLA by. It is the second highest margin of victory in any sport against them.

Tyler Bey (27 points, 13 rebounds, 13-20 FG) recorded his fourth-straight double-double, fifth in six games and seventh in nine. It was his 13th of the season and 15th of his career. He has six-straight games with double-digit rebounds and 18 on the season. Bey’s 13 double-doubles now claims a share of the Pac-12 lead (USC’s Nick Rakocevic remained at 13 after a 17-point, 8-rebound night at Utah).
 
Bey tied his career high with 27 points and set a new career and team season-highs with 13 field goals and 20 attempts. His 13 field goals are the most by a Buff since Askia Booker had 13 at USC in a triple overtime game in Jan. 2015. His 13 field goals and 20 attempts are both the most at the CU Events Center against a Pac-12 opponent.
 
Bey is averaging 17.8 points and 12.2 rebounds over the last six games while shooting 63 percent (45-71).
 
Shane Gatling (26 points, 10-10 FT) recorded his third 20-point game of the season, his top two efforts coming against UCLA (career-high 28 in Los Angeles). His 10-of-10 effort from the line mark career-highs and is the best single-game effort without a miss since Derrick White’s 12-of-12 game at Arizona State on Jan. 5, 2017.
 
McKinley Wright IV (9 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists) season-high in rebounds just one off his career-best. Registered at least five assists for the 37th time in 60 career games.
