Colorado falls to 4-6 in Pac-12 Conference openers and 48-61 in all-time league openers.
 
Arizona improves its series lead over Colorado to 21-14. The Wildcats improve to 12-3 against Colorado in Tucson all-time, including a perfect 10-0 in the McKale Center.
 
Colorado gave up a season-high 88 points and its most since allowing 103 to South Dakota State in a double-overtime win on Dec. 15, 2017. It was the most in regulation since Xavier had 96 two games prior, on Dec. 9, 2017.
 
Arizona scored 50 first half points the most against the Buffs in any half since the Wildcats had 50 in the second half in Tucson on Jan. 25, 2018. It was the most first half points against Colorado since UCLA had 51 in Boulder on Jan. 12, 2017.
 
Colorado hit 12 3-point field goals, its most in a loss since also having 12 – on 27 attempts – against SMU on Dec. 23, 2015 in Las Vegas.
 
Colorado made 14 of 17 from the free throw line (.824), seeing its season percentage dip slightly to .854 (129-151)
 
Colorado had 10 offensive rebounds that led to 15 second chance points. The Buffaloes had only three offensive boards and four second chance points in their last game against Grand Canyon. CU surpassed those totals in the first five minutes of the game
 
Evan Battey (18 points, 5-8 FG, 7-8 FT) season high in points, 14 of which came in the first half. His field goals made, and free throws made and attempted tied season highs. Battey has made 20 of 22 from the free throw line and 9 of 18 from the field over the last three games.
 
Maddox Daniels (12 points, 4-6 3FG) registered CU career-highs in points and 3-pointers made. Daniels has made 8 of 11 from 3-point range over the last three games.
 
McKinley Wright IV (10 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists) inched closer to points and assists milestones. Needs just six points to become the 11th Buff to reach 1,500 in his career and is now 16 assists away from Jay Humphries’ school career record of 562 set from 1980-84. Scored in double figures for the sixth time this season and 87th time in his career. Had one steal to move into a three-way tie for 13th on CU’s all-time list at 114 with Billy Law (1990-92) and Michael Lee (1985-88).
