California narrows Colorado’s series lead to 18-16, snapping a five-game Buffaloes’ winning streak. The Golden Bears have won 13 of 15 all-time meetings in Berkeley.
 
California’s 76 points are its most in the Pac-12 this season and most since scoring 77 against Saint Mary’s on Dec. 14. The Golden Bears hit 70 points for just the fourth time in Pac-12 play. CU falls to 3-7 when the opponent scores 70 points this year.
 
Colorado was 6 of 9 from the free throw line. The Buffaloes have been held to 10 or less free throw attempts in four of the last five games after taking no less than 12 the first 24 contests. Colorado had just 19 made free throws over the last three games (6.3 per game)
 
California made nine 3-pointers – six in the first half. The Golden Bears entered the game averaging only 4.8 3-pointers made per game during conference action.
 
McKinley Wright IV (18 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists, 1 steal) led Colorado in scoring for the third-straight game and 11th overall time this season. His one steal gave him 100 for his career, becoming the 21st Buff to reach that mark. He passed Jay Humphries (1980-84) for 17th in career scoring at 1,316, leaving him one point shy of David Harrison (2001-04) for 16th. His four assists put him at 492, just eight shy of becoming the second Buff to reach 500.
 
Lucas Siewert (11 points, 3-9 3FG) scored in double-digits for the 11th time this season. His nine 3-point attempts are a career high. His 12 overall field goal attempts (4 of 12) are a season high. Siewert is now tied for seventh in career games played (127) while remaining in eighth in career 3-point field goals (139). Had at least three 3-point field goals for the seventh time this season, three of those coming in the last five games (11 for 26, .423).
 
Evan Battey (9 points, 4 rebounds) three of his four rebounds came on the offensive end, giving him a team-leading 81 on the season. It’s the most offensive rebounds for a Buff since Wesley Gordon had 100, and Josh Scott had 87, in 2015-16.
