UCLA wins its third straight in the series and increases its overall lead to 14-6.
 
Colorado, the nation’s top free throw shooting team, was under 80 percent for just the second time in 10 games. The Buffaloes made 10 of 13 (.769) lowering their season percentage to 85.0 percent. Colorado’s 10 free throws made tied a season low (at Tennessee) and the 13 attempts was one off the season low (12 at Tennessee).
 
Colorado was outrebounded for the third time in four games, falling to 1-2 in those contests.
 
The Buffaloes lost for the first time in eight games this season when winning the turnover battle. UCLA had 14 turnovers while CU had 13.
 
Colorado had season-low nine assists.
 
Eli Parquet (10 points, 4-5 FG) career-high in points and field goals made; first career double-figure scoring game. Had just five points in the previous two games. Hit both free throw attempts to remain perfect on the season (10 of 10).
 
Maddox Daniels (12 points, 3-8 FG, 4-4 FT) tied his career high in points set earlier in the road trip at Arizona. Has four double-figure scoring games this season; had just one in 31 games last year. Had personal bests in free throws made and attempted. He is 9 of 10 from the line this year, was just 5 of 12 last year.
 
McKinley Wright IV (12 points, 3 assists) season low in assists, but creeps closer to Jay Humphries’ all-time mark. Wright has 553 assists, just nine away from catching Humphries’ all-time mark of 562 from 1980-84. Wright’s three rebounds give him 550 for his career and moves him into 27th on CU’s all-time list.
