Colorado improves to 15-6 all-time against Washington State and evens its road record against the Cougars to 4-4, snapping a three-game skid.
 
Colorado improves to 6-3 in the Pac-12 and 3-3 in conference road contests. The 6-3 overall mark equals the 2015-16 and 2019-20 teams for the best nine-game conference record in the Pac-12 era. The Buffaloes have at least three road conference wins for the third straight season, with four more to play (CU finished 3-6 in both 2018-19 & ’19-20). CU’s best Pac-12 road record was 4-5 in 2012-13. The Buffaloes now go home for five in a row and are scheduled to finish the regular season with 7 of 11 at home.
 
Colorado’s comeback from an 18-point deficit tied for the fifth best since 1947 and third best in a road game. It was Colorado’s best comeback in a Pac-12 regular season game. The Buffaloes own a 19-point comeback against Washington State in the first round of the 2017 Pac-12 Tournament.

Colorado, the nation’s leading free throw team hit 12 of 15, marking the 11th time in 16 games the Buffaloes have shot 80 percent or better from the line. CU’s season total dipped slightly to 83.9 percent (235-280).
 
McKinley Wright IV (12 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists) became the 10th player in team history to reach 1,600 points (1,606) and captures the first leg of becoming the first player in Pac-12 history to reach 1,600 points, 600 rebounds and 600 assists. He is seven assists and 20 rebounds away from reaching the milestones in the latter two categories.
 
Evan Battey (16 points, 5 rebounds) led Colorado in scoring for the second time this season (18 at Arizona). It was his ninth double-figure scoring game of the season. His top four scoring outputs, including this one, have come away from Boulder; three of those in true road games. Battey is averaging 12.6 points in Pac-12 play. He hit all four free throw attempts, making him 45 of his last 51 from the line (.882). He is shooting 60.1 percent over the last four games (23-38).
 
Eli Parquet recorded a career and team-season high four blocked shots. He has 16 on the season with nine of those in the last three games. Parquet had 19 blocked shots in his first two seasons (56 games).
