Thank you for your interest in joining the Ralphie Handler Program! Applications are currently closed and will re-open August of 2026. Please do not hesitate to reach out to Program Director Taylor Stratton (taylor.stratton@colorado.edu) with any questions that you have.
Tryouts consist of three portions:
  1. A written application (generally available August-October) and medical physical.
          a.) Application will open in early August and close at 11:59PM MT Sunday, October 25th.
          b.) You will be required to have a completed sickle cell test as well as medical physical by Nov. 6th.
  2. Physical evaluation - mobility evaluation, max repetition pull ups, three timed 100yd sprints.
  3. Final interview for most competitive applicants.Â
