Stanford’s Spencer Jones had 25 points – the most by a CU opponent this season.

KJ Simpson (31 points, 11-23 FG, 8-9 FT, 7 rebounds) career-high 31 points and the first Buff since Derrick White in 2016-17 to have two or more 30-point games in a single season (White had four that season). His 31 points were the most by a Buffalo since White had 31 against Arizona in the quarterfinals of the 2017 Pac-12 Tournament. Simpson tied a career-high with 11 field goals and his 23 attempts were the most by a Buffalo in regulation since Richard Roby had 24 against Pepperdine on Dec. 4, 2006. Overall the 23 was the most since Askia Booker had 23 in a triple-overtime win over USC on Jan. 29, 2015. Simpson is 19 of 22 from the line over the last two games.

Luke O’Brien (12 points, 4-6 FG, 3-3 3FG, 6 rebounds) season-high in points and tied a career-high in 3-pointers made. Went 3-for-3 from deep after starting the season 3-of-20 from long range. Registered his third straight game in double-figures (11.0 ppg) – had just one his first 52 collegiate outings.
