Colorado improved to 7-3 on the season in games decided by five points or less. The Buffaloes are 10-4 this year in games that were within six points – or two possessions – within the final four minutes of regulation.
Colorado has bounced back from double-digit first half deficits in two of its last three wins. The Buffaloes were down 15 in the first half at Oregon before winning 82-78 on Jan. 25. Colorado trailed Utah by 11 on three occasions, with the latest coming at the 15:50 mark of the second half (49-38).

Walker hit 13 rebounds for the fifth time – all this season.
Evan Battey (16 points, 5 rebounds, 2-4 3FG) moved into 26th in career scoring with 1,176 points, passing Jamahl Mosley who had 1,170 from 1997-01. He became the 21st player in team history to log 3,000 career minutes and is now 20th overall at 3,024. Battey made his 99th career start tying former teammate D’Shawn Schwartz for 12th all-time and played in his 124th career game tying Josh Scott for 12th.
Nique Clifford (10 points, 4-4 FG, 2-2 3FG) scored in double figures for the fifth time and in back-to-back games for the first time in his career.
