Football Season Ticket Renewal - FAQ

When is the Deadline to Renew My Season Tickets?
The deadline to renew is Thursday, March 31st at 5 p.m.

How Do I Upgrade My Season Ticket Seats?
Season ticket holders will be able to upgrade their seats through our online seat selection and upgrade process that allows you to view the field and select specific seat locations. Upgrade times are provided based on your Buff Club Priority Rank.

When Can I Upgrade My Seats?
Seat selection and upgrades will be May 2nd - 6th.

Will I Receive an E-Mail About Upgrading My Tickets?
Yes, everyone will receive an e-mail about upgrading their tickets. 

Can I Buy Additional Season Tickets and Will They Be Next to My Current Seats?
Yes, you can purchase additional seats. There is no guarantee the additional seats will be adjacent to your current seats. You will be given an opportunity to purchase additional seats during our seat selection and upgrade process.

Why is There a Required Donation on Football Season Tickets?
These funds are essential to the day to day operation of CU Athletics and go directly to support student-athlete scholarships and other general operating expenses. Any donor or patron that is interested in learning more about the operating budget of CU Athletics and the need for support can be directed to the Buff Club Membership Guide for additional information.

Can I Purchase a New Parking Pass?
New parking passes may be added during the football parking selection process in May. Be sure to review the parking lot options at www.cubuffclub.com/fbparking. It is also very important to be aware of your Buff Club giving for the 2021 calendar year, as that is how we will determine eligibility for a given lot location. Parking selection timeslots will be based on your Buff Club priority ranking. How Do I Change Parking Lots?

Where Can I Park If I Do Not Have A Parking Pass?
There is limited game day public parking in non-donor lots on a first-come, first-served basis. CU Parking Services will offer some pre-paid game day parking passes. Visit www.colorado.edu/pts/ for more information.

Is There ADA Parking Available?
Limited season ADA parking is available in some lots.  Season ticket holders must meet the donation requirements for the lot.  Some limited ADA spaces are available in lot 204 for single games via the CU Athletic Ticket Office.  The Buffs provide a round trip ADA-capable shuttle from lot 204 to the stadium.

When Do Away Game Tickets Go on Sale?
Once we receive pricing from each home school, we will put away game tickets on sale. Allocating seats will be based on Buff Club Priority Rank.  We are hopeful to receive this information by June 2022.

When is the deadline to exchange my tickets to another game?
Once game time is announced, season ticket holders have until 48 hours before the game time to exchange their tickets for a future game.

Can I exchange into a higher price ticket?
Exchanges are allowed into same price ticket or lower price ticket. Any value remaining is stored on your account for a future single game purchase in the same season.

Is re-entry allowed at Folsom Field?
Yes. You can scan your ticket out when you need to leave and then you can scan back in to re-enter. There is no re-entry allowed after the 3rd quarter.

How Do I Order Buff Seats (cushion chairback seats)?
If you bought season Buff Seatbacks last season, they are included on your 2022 renewal. You may also call the Ticket Office at 303-492-5858 to have them added to your account.  Be aware supplies are limited.  After the renewal period you will be able order at buffseats.com or by calling 1-877-421-3431 while supplies last.  Note: The price of seatbacks will increase from $47 to $57 on July 1.

Do You Sell Group Tickets for Football?
Yes, our group ticket requirements is at least 10 tickets. Please call 303-492-8282 for more information. (This is subject to change due to COVID 19 restrictions and limited capacity.)

When Are Game Times Announced?
Game times and television for the first three weeks of the season are selected each July. Due to television contracts with the Pac-12 Networks and our partners at FOX Sports and ESPN, game times are generally selected 12 days before the date of the game (the Monday the week before the game). The contracts give the TV partners the ability in rare cases to make a six-day selection, in which case we would know the game time the Sunday or Monday prior to the game.

When Do the Gates Open and How Early Does the Ticket Office Open Before Home Football Games?
The gates open two hours prior to kickoff and the ticket booth located on the west side of Franklin Field will open four hours prior to kickoff. The Champions Center ticket office also opens four hours prior to kickoff, this location is sales only and customer service.

What Items Can I Bring Into Folsom Field?
Folsom Field has a clear bag policy! A full list of both permitted and prohibited items is available on the Folsom Field Policies and Information page on CUBuffs.com.

Do Faculty/Staff at University of Colorado-Boulder receive a discount?
University of Colorado faculty or staff members at any of the four campuses with an appointment of 50% or more may receive a 20% discount on season tickets in certain locations. The discount applies only to tickets, not to any required contribution. The discount may be taken on a maximum of two tickets. Additional season tickets may be purchased at the full public rate. Faculty or staff may purchase season tickets section 220 without the required contribution. Faculty and staff members wishing to purchase discounted tickets will be asked to fill out a verification form.  Eligibility will be verified at least annually to maintain discount.  Please contact the CU Athletic Ticket Office at cutix@colorado.edu or 303-492-5858 for more information.

Who qualifies to be in the Alumni C Club and do C Club members receive a discount?
All former letterwinners may join the Alumni C Club. Dues-paying members are eligible for certain benefits and discounts.  Visit www.cubuffs.com/cclub for information.

Do you have a Young Alumni Season Ticket?
Special offer for CU graduates from 2013 and later or current graduate students. Limit of 2 per customer. Subject to verification of Alumni status, and availability. Seating is in the end zone sections 203-206 and 208-209. For more information call 303-492-8282.
