Colorado-Oregon Notes

CU has lost four games at home this season (9-4) marking the first time this has happened since 2016-17 (13-4).

Colorado has dropped three-straight at home for the first time since 2008-09 when the Buffaloes lost their last five.

Oregon claimed its first-ever win in Boulder (10-1). The Buffaloes drop to 14-11 all-time against the Ducks.

Colorado drops to 5-7 when trailing at the half

Oregon’s Jacob Young and Will Richardson combined for 34 of Oregon’s 66 points hitting a combined 14 of 29 from the field. The rest of the Ducks shot 12 of 33 for the game.

Oregon outscored CU 25-6 in points off turnovers including a 19-2 advantage in the second half.

Colorado’s 94 points in a two-game span is its fewest since scoring 91 points in the final two games of the 2013-14 season (43 vs. Arizona Pac-12 Tournament/48 vs. Pittsburgh, NCAA Tournament).

Colorado’s 20 turnovers were its second-highest total this season (21 vs. UCLA). The Buffaloes are averaging 17.8 turnovers over the last six games (1-5 in that span)

Colorado’s 50 percent showing from the free throw line was its lowest of the season and lowest  since hitting 45 percent (9-20) vs. Wyoming on Nov. 24, 2019 in Las Vegas.  

Colorado’s 16 points in the second half are its fewest in any half since that same Wyoming game (15).

Evan Battey (10 points, 2 blocks) is now tied with Askia Booker (2011-15) and Xavier Johnson (2012-15, ’16-17) for the 13th most career starts by a Colorado Buffalo with 97. Set a new season-high and tied his career-high with two blocks. This was his first game with multiple blocks since December 13, 2019 against CSU.

Keeshawn Barthelemy (16 points, 6-11 FG) – Game-high 16 points, all coming in the first half, shooting 6 of 7 from the field. He was held scoreless in the second half missing all four of his attempts. He had just 14 points shooting 4 of 15 in the games against Washington and Washington State.

Jabari Walker (11 points, 12 rebounds) – Recorded his 10th double-double of the season and 12th of his career.
