Colorado-Milwaukee Notes

Colorado is 3-0 for the first time since 2021-22 and for the third time in the past five seasons.
 
Colorado’s 106 points is its most in a regulation game since scoring 116 vs. Savannah State on Jan. 3, 2006.
 
Colorado shot 13 of 20 from 3-point range. The 65 percent from 3-point range is the best mark with a minimum of 10 made 3-pointers since the Buffaloes were 12 of 18 (.667) against Northern Colorado on Dec. 13, 2014.
 
Colorado dished out 25 assists hitting the 20-plus assist mark for the third-straight game. It’s the first time the Buffaloes have dished out 20 or more assists in three-straight games since the first three contests of the 2001-02 season. Prior to this run, Colorado had three games with 20-plus assists over the previous 44 contests dating back to the 2021-22 season.
 
The Buffs are now 6-0 all-time vs Milwaukee 
 
Colorado improves to 121-37 (.766) in nonconference regular season games under head coach Tad Boyle including a 74-20 (.787) mark since the beginning of the 2014-15 season. Colorado is 92-8 (.920) in nonconference home games under Boyle.
 
After missing their first seven 3-pointers of the season during the first half of the Towson game, the Buffaloes have made 31 of 53 from downtown over the last 2 ½ games (.585)
 
Colorado shot 58.7 percent from the field. The Buffaloes have won 17 straight and are 29-2 since 1996 when shooting at least 58.7 percent.
 
Eddie Lampkin, Jr. (14 points, 12 rebounds, 6-7 FG) logged his first double-double as a Colorado player and seventh overall as a collegian.
 
KJ Simpson (23 points, 7-9 FG, 6 asst) led the Buffaloes in scoring for the second time in three games and the 18th time in his career overall. He dished out six assists against just one turnover, improving his assist-to-turnover ratio on the season to 8.5 (17:2). It was the ninth 20-point game of his career. Simpson jumped into 25th in career assists, now with 214, passing Michael Lee who had 213 from 1984-88.
 
Tristan da Silva (17 points, 6-10 FG, 4-6 3FG) continues to close in on the 1,000-point plateau, now with 963 points, remaining in 41st on CU’s all-time list.
 
RJ Smith (11 points, 3-4 3FG) career highs across the board for the redshirt freshman, notching his first double-digit game with a personal-best three 3-pointers.
