Colorado-Northern Colorado Notes

The Buffs are now 24-18 all-time against Northern Colorado. Colorado has now won 12 straight games vs the Bears with its last loss coming in 1935. Colorado is now 17-8 against Northern Colorado at home. 
 
The Buffs are now 6-0 at home this season.
 
From 18:31 to 10:53 in the first half, Colorado made 11 straight field goals; building a 24-15 in the process.
 
With their 28 points off turnovers tonight, the Buffs have had 25+ points off turnovers in two straight games (25 points off turnovers vs Miami). Colorado had 19 points off turnovers in the first half.

Luke O’Brien (14 points, 4-8 3FG) - Set a career-high in three-pointers with four makes from behind the arc. Tied his career-high in points. Also had career-highs in 3-point (8) and overall field goal attempts (14). Has hit 7 of his last 12 from 3-point range after starting the season 3 of 14.
 
KJ Simpson (21 points, 5 rebounds, 5 steals) - Sixth 20-point game this season and 13th of his career. He had a team season-high five steals, one off his career-best (6 vs. Texas A&M last season). Simpson leaped from 27th to 22nd in career steals and is now at 99. Simpson matched his personal and team season-high with nine field goals made. He is shooting 69.2 percent over the last five games (36-52). He sank both free throw attempts extending his consecutive made to 18.
 
J’Vonne Hadley (15 points, 6-9 FG, 6 assists, 5 rebounds) career-high six assists, also had season highs in field goals made and attempted.
 
The Colorado front court set career highs in assists in back-to-back games. Against Miami, Tristan da Silva set his career high in assists with nine and against Northern Colorado, J’Vonne Hadley and Eddie Lampkin both set career high in assists with six. Over the last two games those three have combined for 32 assists – 16 in both games.
 
UNC’s Saint Thomas’ 27 points with 10 field goals made on 22 attempts are all CU opponent season-highs.
