Colorado improved to 6-2 on the season and is a perfect 5-0 at home.
 
Colorado evened the series with Pepperdine to 4-4.
 
Colorado shot 57.4 percent (31-54), its third-straight game at 54 percent or better and sixth time above 50 percent in eight games. The Buffaloes had seven games at .500 or better in 35 games last season (6-1). Colorado improved to 99-8 in the Tad Boyle era (since 2010-11) when shooting at least 50 percent.

He’s the only Colorado player since 1951-52 with at least five field goals and 10 free throws without a miss. Since 1996-97, da Silva is the only Pac-12 Conference player with those numbers and only one of 12 nationally. Da Silva had a 6 for 6 FG game against Oregon State in 2020-21, but went 3 for 4 from the line in that game finishing with 15 points.

Da Silva made his 100th career 3-point field goal (now at 101). With his 22 points he leaped from 38th to 34th in career scoring, now with 1,036 points. Former teammate D’Shawn Schwartz (2017-21) and NBA Legend Chauncey Billups (1995-97) were among the four players Da Silva passed.
 
Da Silva is 14 of 21 (.667) from the 3-point line in five home games.
 
Cody Williams (21 points, 9-13 FG) second-straight 20-point game, matching his effort against CSU on Nov. 29. Matched a team season-high with nine field goals made (KJ Simpson at CSU).
 
Eddie Lampkin (7 points, 10 rebounds) recorded his third double-figure rebounding game of the season.
 
KJ Simpson (15 points, 6-7 FG, 2-2 3FG, 1-1 FT, 4 assists) moved into Colorado’s Top 20 in career assists, now at No. 20 with 232, passing Howard Frier who had 231 from 1994-98. Simpson has made 14 consecutive free throws and is now 41 of 45 on the season (.911). He has made 19 of his last 27 from the field over the last three games (.704).
 
Julian Hammond III (10 points, 4-6 FG, 4 asst) dished out four assists after being credited with just two over the previous four games. Has made 75 percent from the field over the last three games (12-16).
