Colorado-UCLA Notes

Colorado falls to 11-4 at home this year and is swept at home in a Pac-12 weekend series for the first time since the L.A. schools did it last year.  Overall the Buffaloes have lost three straight, tying a season-long streak, and four of their last five.

Colorado dropped to 10-4 this season when leading at the half. Two of those losses came against UCLA.

UCLA made just one 3-point field goal and shot 7.1 percent from deep (1-14) both season lows. In two games against Colorado this year, the Bruins were 0-13 in the first half from the 3-point line (0-6 in Boulder, 0-7 in L.A.).

The Buffaloes are now 67-4 since 2010-11 when holding an opponent to 60 or less at the CU Events Center. Two of those losses have come this year (60-59 vs. Arizona State on Dec. 1).

Colorado shot 33.3 percent from the field, its second lowest total of the season. The first was the UCLA game in L.A. where the Buffs shot 30.6 percent. The 18 field goals made is also CU’s second lowest of the season trailing only the 15 in the same game in L.A.
