Colorado-Stanford Notes

Colorado improves its series record over Stanford to 19-11 and has won six straight and 16 of its last 18 over the Cardinal. The Buffaloes improve to 14-3 against Stanford in Boulder and have won the last nine.
 
Colorado’s 84 points was its most in a Pac-12 game this season and most since scoring 86 against Southern Utah on Dec. 21
 
After being tied at the half (first instance of the season), Colorado opened the second half on a 16-0 run, its longest stretch of the season.
 
Colorado shot a season-best 94.4 percent from the free throw line (17 of 18).
 
Colorado improved to 82-5 in the Tad Boyle era (since 2010-11) when scoring at least 84 points and has won 35 straight. The Buffaloes are 55-2 in that same span when shooting 52.7 percent or better.
 
KJ Simpson (21 points, 11-11 FT, 7 rebounds) career-high in free throws made and his 11 for 11 is the best mark by a Pac-12 player this season for free throws made without a miss. Seventh 20-point game of the season and first since scoring 25 a California.
 
Tristan da Silva (25 points, 9-14 FG) records his fifth-straight 20-point game the first by a Buffalo since Josh Scott, Dec. 2-19, 2015. Over that span he is averaging 23.4 points hitting 58.7 from the field (44-75) and 60.9 percent from 3-point range (14-23). Da Silva is averaging 20.4 points per game since Jan. 1 (his last 10 games), ranking second in the Pac-12. It was da Silva’s 10th game of 20-plus points this season, the most since Derrick White had 15 in 2016-17.
 
It’s the second time this season that da Silva and Simpson have scored 20-plus in the same game (Southern Utah). The duo have combined for nine games of 25-plus points (da Silva-5, Simpson-4), the most since Derrick White (7) and Xavier Johnson (2) in 2016-17.
 
Luke O’Brien (9 points, 3-3 3FG, 5 rebounds) tied his career high in 3-pointers made, last done at Stanford earlier this season. He made all six of his attempts against Stanford this year (also 3-3 on the road), making just 7 of 39 against the rest of the schedule.
 
Ethan Wright (7 points, 3-5 FG) most points and field goals made in a Pac-12 game. He had 22 total points in 13 previous Pac-12 games.
